We are excited to have you visit one of our learning centers. You will find friendly staff and bright cheery rooms! For a first time visit, it is best to make an appointment ensuring you will have a personal tour as well as an introduction to staff and curriculum.
Although every Outreach location has the same foundational truths and attributes, each has its own style and flavor. There is a special thread of genuine love and compassion that runs through every facility for families and their children. Outreach has a reputation of academic excellence using curriculum that places our students at the top of their class.
Here is what you can expect:

Platte Woods (PW): This is first of our four locations. It is a branch off of our original day care founded in 1979 in Parkville, Missouri. After 12 years in Parkville, we lost our lease due to development and opened our Platte Woods (PW) facility. PW is set up in the lower level of the founders large home. It has a large, fenced-in playground! As well as bright, colorful rooms and a staff that loves and cares for the children. PW provides excellent care for infants through K4 (prekindergarten) and before and after school care.
North Kansas City (NKC): Our NKC facility is very unique. It is housed in what was Cooley Elementary, a former NKC public school building built in 1935. We love this building! It has some of the original doors and woodwork as well as the personality of the old school house. It is a two-story brick structure with large rooms beaming with colorful and kid friendly pizzazz. Outside you will find a fenced-in playground. Inside is a large gymnasium where children run and play, shoot hoops, ride tricycles, and chase after each other in addition to playing sports and organized group games. NKC provides exceptional care for infants through 3rd grade, before and after school care, and offers a fun-filled summer camp program.

Riverside: Our Riverside location is large and beautiful. This is a building that was originally designed to house day care. It has bright cheery rooms that welcome children. It has a large fenced-in playground in the "backyard" and is within walking distance of the Riverside park, police and fire station, and public pool. Located in the heart of Riverside, it provides loving care for infants through K4 (prekindergarten), before and after school care, and also offers a fun-filled summer camp program.
Buckner: Buckner is our newest location. It has a small town feel with big city ideas! It is cozy and cute and filled with teachers who love and care for their children. It is the talk of the town with its academic excellence. This clean, sharp facility is growing in leaps and bounds. Buckner offers outstanding care for students from infants through K4 (prekindergarten) and before and after school care.
