Discipleship at OCE

Helping Students Grow in Faith, Character, and Purpose At OCE, discipleship is more than a program — it is the heartbeat of our school. We believe every student is created by God with purpose, potential, and a story He is writing. Our role is to walk alongside them as they learn to follow Jesus with confidence, courage, and joy.

Growing Hearts and Minds
Discipleship at OCE focuses on the whole student — spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally. We guide students to:

•     Understand Scripture and apply it to life
•     Develop Christlike character
•     Make wise, God‑honoring decisions
•     Build healthy social relationships
•     Serve others with humility and compassion

We believe spiritual formation happens step by step, through consistent encouragement and intentional guidance.

A Community That Walks Together
We partner with families to nurture faith at home and at school. Together, we create a community where students feel safe, loved, and supported as they discover who God created them to be.

A Christ‑Centered Culture
We intentionally cultivate an environment where students experience God’s love through relationships, teaching, and daily rhythms. Discipleship is woven into:

Classroom conversations
Chapel services

Prayer and devotional times

Mentorship and staff‑student relationships

Everyday moments where faith becomes real

Our goal is simple: to help students know Jesus, love Him deeply, and reflect His character in their lives.

Becoming More Like Christ
Our prayer is that every student leaves OCE with:

A strong foundation in God’s Word

A personal relationship with Jesus

A heart for others

A desire to live out their faith boldly

Discipleship is the journey of becoming more like Christ — and at OCE, that journey begins here.

Mentorship That Matters
Every student is known and cared for. Our teachers and staff model faith in action, offering:

Gentle correction

Encouragement

Accountability

Prayer

Support through challenges

Students learn that discipleship is not about perfection — it’s about walking with Jesus daily and growing through His grace.

We work alongside the students and families with encouragement and support in several areas. Students will love our weekly chapel services, daily Bible classes, "First-Things-First", and the regular presence of Godly teaching staff on campus. We provide opportunities to serve in the school and community, spiritual development, school cleaning projects, and community service field trips. Our goal is to see each student and family realize their identity in Christ by learning to follow God’s calling, and cultivating Godly leadership qualities.
